The LCCC in a not-for-profit organization.
All dogs adopted from the AWL receive a 50% discount on their class fee.
The LCCC offers the following classes:
This class focuses on basic obedience skills such as sit, stay, come and heel. Classes will also offer instruction on positive social skills and the modification of unwanted behavior in the home.
Class focuses on puppy development, communication, learning, and socialization. Classes will also allow for controlled exposure to positive relationships and confidence building environments.
Classes work on more advanced obedience and social skills. The class covers the skills required for the Canine Good Citizen Certification.
Classes teach dog and handler how to work together as a team to tackle obstacles and complete obstacle sequences.
The LCCC also offers Intermediate Obedience classes & Agility Training, Dog Care Seminars for kids, and visits by well trained dogs for Reading Programs and Nursing Homes. Contact the LCCC at 574-267-2214 for more information on currently available programs.
